Inukshookus

This photo was taken this past winter at Victoria Park when the snow was piled some thirty feet high and Mike, Marla, Laine and I decided to go for a day of playing in the snow there. Auto Levels were used in Photoshop to try and correct scanning discrepancies. This photo was taken with my Dad’s old Pentax K1000, a rugged easy to use piece of equipment, it still takes great shots and the actual print is much nicer than this scan is representing.

Metric

A poor photo of one of the best performances at the Shoreline Festival this year. This is Emily Haines from the band Metric. It was a high energy set and the crowd responded with electric enthusiasm with Emily’s engaging stage presence. This has been photoshopped to try and fix the poor exposure and shakiness.

Arch

This photo was taken near my old house in Stratford at the park while walking Haley. The sun was setting and when I came upon this little ‘corridor’ I had never noticed beforeit looked kinda pretty and I snapped off a few shots. When I got the film back this shot in particular grabbed my attention as it seems not quite real and a little creepy. Photoshop was used to adjust levels and noise a little to correct scanning discrepancies with the actual print.
