God do I love sammiches! There is nothing quite so as satisfying as a really well put together sammich. I find that the feelings envoked by the perfect sammich is a lot like love, and like love, everyone has their different ideas on what makes an ideal match. I think the ham and cheese, in all it’s varied forms, has to be the ultimate sammich out there. I’ll take the ham-loaf and processed cheese sammiches, I’ll take the thickly sliced homemade smoked ham with chucnks of cheddar any of them, as long as there is mustard on it and NO mayo. Ham and cheese is not a mayo sammich, and nothing any of you say will change my mind on that!
